Compiling and running the browser is most likely doable. However, having it access the screen in such a way that it can be used from the couch is another matter. The whole graphical user interface is a binary blob which we (“the community”) do not have the source code for and thus we can’t add to it. We’d have to get Mvix to add a way of executing applications and provide library support for accessing the screen, none of which will happen. But this is pretty much on par with most other media players, not just Mvix.
