Note that Google does not support every combination of language and feed type. I don’t know how extensive Google’s Portuguese selection is, but are you unable to find a single Portuguese feed type?

I am using thw widget but it will show feeds in English only, although I have set it to Portuguese.

Anyone gone through this?

Are you still supporting / maintaining this plugin?

I am getting the same error mentioned above. The thumbnails are being displayed, but not the title or description.

I’m a user of your plugin, Google News, and I really enjoyed it. Because I am Brazilian, I have a problem and would like to help me solve it.

In the settings of the plugin there is the option for regional news, including Brazil. But even choosing that location, the news is still displayed in Google News USA.

Is there any extra configuration or version that fixes this problem?

Thanks for the plugin! Works great.
Is there anyway to have the links open in a new window? Tried several things in the google_news.php but got errors with everthing I tried.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello there. Your script seems perfect.
Only problem is I can not get it to work?

THIS IS WHAT I DID:
I have the plugin installed on WP. Completed the setup questions. I then created a “text” widget box. Inside the widget box I put the code:
do_action(‘google_news’, ‘feedname’);

QUESTION: What am I doing wrong? What should go in the widget box?

Hi,

This is a great app. It was working well, but all of a sudden it stopped and just says Google News unavailable on the home page. I’ll have to take it down if I can’t fix it.

I was trying to insert some code for the google verification and analytics tracking. I put Google’s code in the header section. The verification worked but the analytics didn’t. Could this be related to the problem?

Also recently started having trouble with a BBC news widget before your app went down.
